I have managed to work with collections and it works great! is there a way how i can arrange movies / sort them by year or title or even manually so the sequence matches their release date?
That’s what collections do by default. Sort by release year.
It requires your movies to actually have the correct release date set.
You can change that by editing the collection. The selector is on the ‘Advanced’ tab.
