Requesting a feature that would allow active rating settings for movies. The settings would use a file similar to the srt file to play only sections of a movie related to the desired rating. If someone wants to watch pg-13 movie but set it to PG the file would skip over predefined sections of a movie on the fly. This would allow for files to be created that would remove nudity or sexual content from movies, making them more family friendly.
Feature Ideas,
- Feature to play movies based on time lines, removing sections of movies is activated.
- File would be configured similar to how subtitles/srt files are used.
- Community can grow this feature similar to subtitles.
I can understand how streaming services might not implement a feature like this, but there should be no reason we can’t have this for our personal libraries.
If this lived only in beta I’d still use it.
