[FEATURE REQUEST] Additional Bitrate options above 20M especially for 4K / 10bit

I kept waiting as I figured naturally this would be added but isn’t it time to add beyond 20MB/s options to cover 4K movies. I had issues streaming them across my powerline network. It would be nice for the 50mb/s movies to have 40M and 30M options . Is there a limitation with the 3rd party tool FFMPEG? According to the documentation, it does not state there is a limit. It also states it supports variable bitrate.

Good news is I figured out switching on “force” makes the 4k play just fine instead of every few seconds having blocky output that clears up, but wouldn’t this still make sense?

wait, no one else wants this?

I need this. I can hardware transcode 4k in real time. I want to keep the 4k bluray, but remote stream lower.

+1, I also need this option.

Ok, so how does this feature request work. Do these just sit on the forum forever, or do they get a reply that they are added to a queue or rejected or ??

Early 2021 clean-up: implemented (e.g. 4K (high) - 40 Mbps, 4K (medium) - 30 Mbps, 4K - 25 Mbps)
