I think this would be a good idea to add for Plex Pass users. Suppose my server went down for maintenance, it would be nice to have the Plex cloud server display a custom message. We can add a custom message stating how long the server will be down, for instance, and then anyone trying to connect to my server would see that.
A variant of this would be a way to just send all users a message regardless of the reason. Something that would pop up when they sign in or show up on the home page.
Use cases would be server outage, new items, etc.
Tautulli will do this for you.
This has been asked many times over many years. Plex does not want to incorporate management utilities. Yes I also want this.
Edit: Hell Plex does not seem to want to add anything users want recently…
