I would like to make a request for new features for the Alexa Skill for Plex.
Please add a command like “Shuffle all my music” or “Shuffle my music library”. I would like it to play random music from my entire library.
When a command like, “Play music by Al Green” is given make the command continue playing additional songs by that artist, like when a shuffle is specified. At the moment it just plays one song and then stops.

Hi - I’ve just setup Alexa and Plex and would reiterate the request above. I would like to be able to tell Alexa to “play all music and shuffle”. Any progress on this?
Agreed. I just setup Alexa with plex and was hoping there was already a way.
+1 for this feature. I have set up a playlist with all my music, and then just ask Alexa to shuffle the playlist, but then you have to update the playlist every time you add music.

Me Too. I was surprised it wasn’t possible and have spent some time trying different requests to alexa.
Do plex staff never respond to this forum?
This is one of multiple minor feature requests that have been around for a while. I’ve given up on Plex at this point as it obviously will not do what I want without a lot of serious mucking around. Probably just going back to Amazon Music for now since at least I can tell it to “play all my music” and it can do that, instead of chanting off artist selections.

I have around a thousand songs in one playlist and don’t want to hear every song by every A thru U Artist before I can hear the first Van Halen song.
Would someone PLEASE respond with “We’re working on it” or “Never gonna happen” or “Go to …”
