[Feature Request] Allow sorting by User Rating

Right now, it is not possible to sort via user rating… nor is it possible to access the user rating via the Agent Plug-in API (meaning I can’t write an agent that writes the user rating to the sortable rating field).

Please either make it possible to sort via user rating, or expose that field to third-party developers so that they may utilize it. Right now, to work around this I’m using external tools to watch for changes to the Library database, and copy user ratings between tables. It’s a very clunky and unwieldy way to solve what should be a simple problem.

a work around to sort by User Ratings: 1) use the User rating to display your personal user rating 2) change the rating (1 to 10) in the “info” section of any individual movie ( Select any movie > Select Edit > Select General tab > change Rating) …the rating you put here will determine how your movie is sorted. The User Rating (yellow stars) will determine what is displayed. …its annoying, but it works.

Sorting by user rating is now available, at least in the ‘web’ app.
Other plex apps will follow sometime.
