At present, there is no way to add extras to TV shows. You can’t have deleted scenes, outtakes, etc attached to your TV shows. However, you can have an episode 0. If you add an episode #0 to a TV season (i.e. “Show - s01e00 - Description.ext”), Plex hides the episode number in the episode list and shows it at the end of the season. This is almost a perfect replacement for having “extras”. The only issue is that you can only have one “Ep00” per season – they get merged if you add more.
So, my request is that a) Plex does not automatically merge multiple copies of episode #00 and b) for episodes #00, Plex uses the description in the file name instead of whatever scanner/agent is configured for that library. This seems like a relatively simple way to allow extras without having to spend a lot of development time on it.
