With Android TV devices becoming more viable and new products like the Remix Mini on the horizon, it would be great if we could turn android devices into media servers using external USB hard drives or SD Cards. This would provide a great low-cost and low power requirement solution for those who would rather not leave their desktop running at all times.
WoW, this is very interesting project. For some reason I had no idea about it. Looks very promising for very little money. I’m going to get one asap.

I just can’t believe that Plex didn’t develop a Android Server get. Today with my android setupbox would be great.

It would be great if the existing plex android app could sync the music to the phone. We are not always near cell towers.
