I use my XBox One as a media player in my bedroom. Some of the vids I watch on it have the audio out of sync with the video, typically anywhere up to half a second out. This includes some, but not all, of the episodes I’ve ripped from DVD box sets. The vids in question play back fine in other Plex apps or when played directly from the source on my other computers.
The problem seems to be inherent to the Xbox and Xbox One, as far as googling it can tell me, and frequently happens with DVD and Blu-Ray playback as well. It doesn’t seem like Microsoft are going to fix it any time soon, so if the Plex XBox app is still being developed, or if the standard Win 10 app is going to be usable on the XBox, it would be great to be able to fix the sync issue when it occurs (VLC is able to do this on both its Android and Windows apps, for example).
