and I don't mean: TV Show Theme Music
It used to be around and I loved hearing Bob Marley every time Plex opened and I was looking for something to watch. I'd really love to have this feature back.
Now that I paid my lifetime membership that means my demand for background music to come back be heard better then it was when I wasn’t paying right? 
Plex with background music is like the “pre-show” at the movie theaters. You walk in, you hear some tunes, u watch some “coca-cola movie trivia” and then sit through 20 mins of ads and trailers before the fun begins.
Now plex being silent is just dull and boring…not to mention scary when you forget what the volume is at when you select a tv show and it’s theme song starts screaming at you
Which client doesn’t have background music? I get it on all my iOS devices

android doesn’t even have this feature yet, i would like to see background music on android both phone, and tablet, but also on gtv would be awesome.
Originally the Mac client would have background music that plays whatever mp3 u had in the background folder. This music would play at a lower volume while u browsed your library and then stop once you played your video resuming when the video was over. If you browsed tv shows then the tv theme would play
With the latest Mac client the background music was removed yet the theme songs remained
Like I’ve said in other posts the background music was like going to an actual movie theater before the trailers played u got quiet “background music”
I didn’t know plex used to do that, and I love this idea. Unfortunately I’ve reached my max up-votes for the day…

Adds polish and professionalism to the PMS experience.
Never had this on Android or Roku or any Smart TV apps I’ve seen. In fact, I hadn’t even heard of it until now. It seems a pretty good idea, though.
