I can no longer find the original request thread for this in the new forum so I decided to make a new one using the gist from a post I made a while back (but in the wrong section).

Requesting an update for the collections feature!
The current collections aren’t much more than custom filters. Its really bare bones and nobody I know likes to use them. I feel like it could be so much more.
Getting to the point:
Imagine the convenience of playlist creation and accessabillity, combined with the look and feel of a collectors box.
I would like a movie collection to show up in the virtual shelf (Library) alongside all the other movies, with an icon composed of its contents. Clicking it should open it up and display every movie inside. Not like a playlist but like its own seperate litle “library.”
Considering that a lot of people don’t even know a collections feature exists, this could really use a refresh.
There is a lot of potential here.
