Sometimes, for whatever reason, I’ve never figured it out, I get another instance of a show (yes I’ve sorted out the naming convention to as recommended but it still seems to happen).
As easy fix would be to when looking at the library be able to add the extra show to an existing show and merge the records.
In general, if you do a fix incorrect match on one show, and pick the “other” show, they will merge when the operation completes 
Hmm, didn't seem too. It's episodes 10, 11 and 12 of the 7th season that seem to have done it for whatever reason.
