Have you tried the following settings in PMS (library>advanced)? Disable: "Update my library periodically" Enable: "Update my library automatically" and "Run a partial scan when changes are detected" In addition you might want to trigger a refresh manually. I hope this helps

OK. Done testing :-) Automatic update is not the answer for my problem. Best solution is disabling updates to the library. Now, the drives only spin up at 3am for 10 mins (why?) and that's it.
