I think people nowadays have lots of "home clips" instead of "home movies". Like short or shortest footage i.e. from smartphones, tablets, camcorders etc.. Usually, those clips are not edited or processed in any (extensive) way, like joined to one actual "home movie".
I would appreciate if the home movie section offer the ability to display home movies the same way photos are displayed:
"A folder-view-like display with thumbs for each folder and file within"

"Sort by folder" would work fine for me; however, sort by folder does not show a thumb for the folder!
The only way that makes sense to store home movies, IMHO, is in folders associated with a date or event. I do not have the time to edit all my clips from a vacation into a single file, nor would I want to.
I was excited that the new play queues would allow home movies to "play all" when displayed by folder. However, it seems like there is still no option to queue while displaying by folder. Would love it if you could add this.
I truly need this feature, as our film production company reviews dailies in this fashion, based off of directory structure. I need this library option to work exactly like the photos variation. Please!
+1 How do we vote on this? Can this be a feature? I have home vids/clips sorted in a directory structure exactly like my photos and I would also like them to show up in the same way the Photo’s do. Actually ideally I’d like the Photo’s section to be able to list/play the home videos as then I could store them together, photo’s of an event with Videos too…
