As Otto pointed out, Plex is already covering some elements of your suggestion:
- Original title is part of the metadata collected by the agents
- Search will find an item both by its localized and original title
As for displaying the original title on the media details page: there’s already an existing suggestion discussing that option (and its intricacies / boundaries). Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
