Because of the high amount of disk access that takes place when recording a show, I would prefer that the temporary .grab folder be located on a separate drive than the destination library that the final recording will wind up in. This prevents contention for the drive if watching previously recorded shows while recordings are taking place. Currently, I use a “temporary” library folder located on an SSD and then a post-processing script to move it to my media drive; but having this built-in would be a much tighter solution.
