So I have a Plex home, which finally lets the different people in the house have their own watched status and on deck. This is really nice, however, there is still the issue of the recently added and unwatched sections filling up from content from others users I may not be interested in.
For instance, my boyfriend watched Castle but I don’t. I don’t want or need to see new episodes show up in my recently added or even in my library at all really.
I propose a toggle for each show to “follow” the show. All shows are followed by default and show up. When you “unfollow” a show it stops the show from showing up in that users library. Users can re-follow shows by going to the library and choosing a filter that says “show unfollowed shows” (similar to show unwatched only).
The same concept could be applied to movies.
This would make it much easier and nicer to create a personalized library.
