[Feature Request] Lyrics and rating system

Hello,

I really like PlexAmp it’s awesome with a subscription, now the only thing missing is lyrics kinda like MediaMonkey has. For instance, it could be a visualizer option when clicking the Album art to toggle spectrum view, it could also have a 3rd view for lyrics.

Also, I feel like the rating system should allow for half stars like the Plex Web & Desktop do and I find myself constantly going to Plex to rate half stars when PlexAmp could easily support this by changing the Rating object’s step value. It already shows the half values from Plex so it should be just a matter of input.

Both things are already available in Plexamp.

To expand on Otto’s comment, third-party lyrics are available via LyricFind as long as you have a Plex Pass (and refresh metadata if you got a Plex Pass after initially setting up your music library): Automatic Lyrics from LyricFind | Plex Support

And half-stars are available via Settings > Experience > Rating System > Five Stars With Half Stars.

Thank you for clarifying, I didn’t know about the half Rating option. About the lyrics, I do have the option on Plex Web/Desktop and I can see the lyrics there but I can’t seem to find such option on PlexAmp.

During playback, tap on the track title. The context menu contains Show Lyrics.
