I have some external devices, it seems very nice and useful if is possible to have a file library on the external device. In this way i can attach in other devices where i have Plex installed and see a perfect library built-in without any re-scan or re-edit.
You might want to look into the download/sync functionality of Plex for Windows/Mac or the mobile clients…
Hi Tom, what I mean is that I have many usb portable hard disks and I would like the library to be already inside them, so that when I attach it to any PC, there is enough plex installed and I already see the library ready without having to recreate it or edit it
Yes. I maintain two servers, one for home /streaming and one “to go”. It’s beginning to be a problem maintaining the library.
Can you re-categorize this into the “General: Feature Suggestions” category?
