I would LOVE if Plex would change (or at least provide the option) for how Mobile Sync files are handled after they are converted. Currently, if a user syncs an entire season of a show, Plex converts each file one by one and then those files are uploaded to the mobile sync device after all the files have been converted.
The problem with this method is that many of these mobile clients (especially iPads) go into sleep mode while the files are being converted and never get a chance to download the files until there is another manual intervention by the user.
It would be so much more efficient if Plex would upload each file once it’s been converted so that files can be converting and downloading to the client device simultaneously. I can’t tell you how often my users complain they aren’t getting any of their synced files to show up on their device unless they manually kick off a second sync hours after the first one at which point the download process begins.
