[Feature Request] Name change for inline TV extras

I like adding extra’s from my physical media TV Shows. When putting in inline extras for specific episodes, plex doesn’t allow one to change the name of the video. It goes by the episode title and then below that is the category. I would love the ability to change title of these videos. One example is “The Wire”. Each episode has 2 trailers; a recap of the previous episode and a trailer for the next episode. Now in plex I have to make the extra type for these episodes as “trailer”. Now in plex, I have extras for said episode that both say triailer. I wish I could rename them as recap and preview as an example.

I like that suggestion – though there’s already 2 suggestions addressing this from 2 separate angles:

  1. Custom title for TV episode extras → option to allow custom titles based on file names
  2. Local Trailers and Extras - Edit image, title, etc. → option to manually edit title / image of local extras from within Plex

I suggest you comment/vote in those threads while we close this one to avoid distracting/dispersing votes.
