Users should be able to choose between email notification, in-app notifications, not be notified, etc…
Yes I know Ombi exists. Having plex do the notification and cutting out external services like Ombi makes it simpler for users.

You should already be able to enable that particular notification on the Plex mobile apps (Notifications > Discover > Watchlisted item is available).

What about notification options for non-mobile users? I have quite a few connecting only through plex web.
There’s an option to get updates from your activity feed by e-mail. However that doesn’t seem to include updates about items from your watchlist.
