I’m looking for a feature where plex will automatically pause any media being played locally when answering a phone call. All other requests I’ve seen on this line are looking to pause casted video which is not what I want. Basically, If I’m watching a movie (or more accurately listening to a movie) and I answer a phone call I want plex to automatically pause the video. For example, It’s quite dangerous to be driving down the road listening to Futurama over Bluetooth, using hands free to answer a call then dig my phone out of my pocket to pause the video and allow me to hear whoever is calling me. Prior to getting Plex when I was using MX Player it’d pause and then even resume based on the call status and I never had to dig in my pocket or take my eyes off the road.
All of my other media players do this, but I noticed plex is the only one that doesn’t specifically request permissions to access the phone system. I’m not on my second phone (first was galaxy S6, now galaxy S8) and neither auto-paused when all other players did.
