This sounds like a long shot, but I'd love for Plex to automatically pause the video I am casting when I get a phone call. If I cast a video from the Plex app on my phone (iOS), then get a phone call, I never have time to pause the video before I miss the call. Could plex pause a casted video when my phone receives a phone call, much like Spotify is paused when for an incoming call.
I have been using my phone more and more to cast videos in lieu of my tablet. Many times I am in this same predicament. Phone call comes in and I fumble around on the phone to bring up the casting app to pause and I miss the phone call or I miss pausing my video and I have to rewind later. I can't believe more people haven't been looking for this.
This may not be doable on iOS, I’m not sure what kind of power to access calls, or monitor calls, plex has without acting like a Void service. Even then.
On Android this should totally be done. I know for certain there is a permission to monitor calls on Android.
This sounds like one of those little features that might not be a selling point beforehand, but is definitely a "dang, they really thought of everything" moment when it happens. Good idea!
