I’ve searched and can’t find a previous specific request I’d love to see. That means I must have missed it. 
In the advanced settings for each library, please add a scan for new files time for that library instead of using the global timer set in the library settings.
I am using a NAS to store media that is separate from my PMS so on file change updates don’t work. I have to rely on the global timer setting. :neutral:
I have a bunch of libraries that rarely update and when they do, they can do so at a global level or I can force the update at will. I am happy with that and would love to reduce the time to daily or so.
But I have one library, my TV shows, that I update all day, every day, with my DVR’d shows that I want to be checked frequently. Very frequently.
I’d love a per-library setting that allows me to say ‘use global setting for this library - or - override with X time’
Please consider this.
