Ok, where to begin. i have been using plex for a long time. and i have had my share of ups and downs. now am going to ask the dreaded question. why cant i go more linier? i mean. it would be nice to have my own home streaming server not just on demand. i am not talking about making a playlist no it would be nice to have my youngest of kids grand kids just (login to his username) an tune into a already playing stream that has my media on it. so say at after dinner say 6pm the kids know that scooby do is on for like 20 min. and after that they know another show is playing. what i want is a stream to my family in a nostalgic way. to have a calendar of media to play for them 24/7 if i wish. it would be nice to add my personal commercials and such like calendar reminder dates photos and such. just like a tv station would do. except it would be much more personalized. i know that plex does not operate this way at this time. it seems they have all the tools needed. but are just not going there.
