I have seen mutiple people looking for this but as of now there does not seem to be a way.
I have a lard music library already sorted pre-plex.
I would like to be able to sort by folder to find and play my music.
example \music\1960\1964\animals - house of the rising sun.mp3
Currently Plex does not allow me to do this.
Can we add this at least under filters? [filter by folder?]
Pretty sure what you are asking is actually already there. Click on library along the top, then click artist tab to give you a drop down list change to folder view. you can do this for movies and shows too
