Music - Filter by Folder

I have a small number of folders which are like file system organised ‘libraries’ of music - for example I separate hi-res album rips from other albums, a separate folder for DJ tracks and another for radio show rips. I’d like to be able to view these either as an entire collection (all music in all folders), or to filter the collection to one of these folders, but otherwise keep everything the same. Feature suggestion - Sorting and filtering in library view in folders

It wolud be great if it were possible to do the same sort and exclusions in folder view as you can in files view when you are in library view. It would also be awesome if you could sort files by folder in files view It would also be great if you could choose multiple files in a somewhat easier way, rather than have to click on each item. Also would it be great if you colud choose to play all in folder view rather than play selected

Create Smart Collection based on Folders

I would like to be able to create Smart Collections from folders. No filter match the criteria I need, and the only way to group the movies I want to group is storing them together into folders. Problem is, I cannot create Collections nor Smart Collections from my folders. Thanks.

Feature request play / view by folder

I have seen mutiple people looking for this but as of now there does not seem to be a way. I have a lard music library already sorted pre-plex. I would like to be able to sort by folder to find and play my music. example \music\1960\1964\animals - house of the rising sun.mp3 Currently Plex does not allow me to do this. Can we add this at least under filters? [filter by folder?]

Allow Collections to be set by the File Directory

I’m new to PLEX and new to self-hosted media streaming. I’m working through digitizing my wife’s and my cd library, and wondering how to organize them. I’ve seen examples of people creating separate libraries for their individual music categories, especial people who have extensively organize their file directory, and multiple libraries seems an inelegant solution as it eliminates those other libraries from a possible search.
