I thought i’d drop this here as I saw something that I thought would be pretty cool to add to Plex. I came across this program called Playon, while I am not interested as I have Plex. One of the features I thought that was pretty cool was the ability to add a subscription to it and you sign in to ex, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Directv.
Able to record, skip ad’s onto your device or PC.
While the DVR is a nice addition for OTA use with Plex I thought this would be a nice addition to the program.
But again I might add the copyright laws etc. I don’t know how that works.
Netflix already allows recording to devices so maybe it can be done?
It turns your PC into a DVR basically, sort of like DVR OTA via Plex only you use the services / subscriptions.
What do you think, what are your thoughts and comments? Let me know, lets discuss.
