I want to be able to send podcasts to my Chromecasts from Ios and Android app.
Same here. Can’t cast podcasts to my chromecast devices.
Same. I use PocketCast to listen to podcasts and cast them to my chromecast audio when I am at home. I would love to replace this with plex.
Ditto. Casting podcasts to my Chromecast is HIGHLY desirable.
Lack of Chromecast support for podcast is why I don’t you the podcast feature yet.
Until very recently, I could cast podcasts to my Chromecast audio device. However, this window of opportunity was only for a few weeks. It WAS working rather well. I can’t imagine why this needs to be such an issue for the Plex community.
Turn it back on please!
Same here. Specifically with Chromecast cast from iphone, computer or android, it used to work a few weeks ago. You can play the podcast on any device, but when you chromecast it starts to spin. To be clear, this was working for 3 weeks straight about 2 weeks ago, and then suddenly stopped and started the spinning wheel when I connect to Chromecast Audio. Please fix, as it’s the best app I’ve found for podcasts, with the largest list of shows. And it’s the only one that supports chromecast, besides spotify, for podcasts.

I was previously able to playback podcasts to chromecasts, this no longer is working. The “connection” sound is played on my google mini’s and chromecast audio’s, but playback does not start after this as expected. Playing music from plex to chromecast works as expected, but not podcasts.
+1 more. Also used an iPhone. Also worked. Also frustrated now that it doesn’t.
This seems to still be an issue.
