It’s a fact of life that users might be using multiple applications with their DVR tuner devices (I know some folks at Plex think the platform is sooo attractive that no-one will want to use anything else, but hey, some folks smoke too much weed).
It would be great if Plex could notify users that an upcoming scheduled recording won’t be able to start because there’s no tuner available. PMS should be able to check to see if tuners are free. Plex on Android (or iOS) could then send a push notification to the user on their phone to tell them that they need to free up a tuner or the recording will fail.
