I have a lot of TV shows, and it takes a long time when updating the library. Many of the shows are off the air and I have all the episodes, meaning there will never be file changes in those show folders. It would be nice if there were a way to still include these files in the library but let Plex know it shouldn’t bother scanning those folders for changes, something like a .plexupdateskip file similar to .plexignore, or maybe if the folder had [complete] in the name? Even if I had to go into the interface and check a box on the under edit > Advanced, that works too. This would be super helpful for music too, for all the hundreds of complete album folders that I won’t be adding songs to…
