Would be great if it was possible to update the data for a movie or episode from all clients and not as it is today, only from the web-interface.
Currently I have to go to the web interface to update the information for the show/movie to get the subtitles downloaded for my other clients.
Just feels like a unnecessary step which should be possible from the other clients.

If I wants an update, I use the web-interface, and is protected by my user/pin
Multiple clients are out there, some Plex provided, others not....
If this went into the clients, that could lead to a mess, causing admin to loose control....
IMHO, keep administration separate from clients!

I cant see the mess it would couse nor the loss of any control?
Limit the feature to specific clients when you share your server, allow users to update the library data or just the admin user account of the server.
