I use Plex with my family on different devices. When I watch some content, it gets the "watched" mark for everybody else. It would be nice, if there will be a setting where i can choose "Watched Status per device" so that every familiy member has his own "watched/unwatched" status per device.

Yes i have. But then its a Shared Library, wich is not showed on top on the players like the own library. the look and feel is not the same.
