(Feature) Sync the same file to multiple devices

Problem…I have two kids each with their own Ipad and they frequently want the same videos sync’d to their IPads.

It would be great if:

Option A) when syncing, PMS could show an option to sync to multiple devices, such that it would be transcoded only once and then transferred twice.

or
Option B) prompt the user if you’d like to keep a copy of the transcoded file for faster transfer. Hard drive space is cheap on the server (not so much on the IPad) so carving out 50GB to keep transcoded files would be easy to do.

Thoughts from the forum?

Also in the “Sync > Choose Destination” for an item (particularly music albums), once you have selected the item to sync, then go back to sync the same content to another device, the previous device remains there, in the same Choose Destination list.
It would be nice if this was a little more intuitive, such as an identifier that the item has already been synced here (as in to X device in the list)
