Fedora plexmediaplayer.conf location

Server Version#: 1.13.5.5291
Fedora 25.

Hey guys,

I’m probably being a dumbass here, but I can’t seem to find the plexmediaplayer.conf on my system.

Any chance someone could help me track it down?

This is all I’m getting so far

Now I understand it. Thought the server would have had similar settings it was sending across. Now I see it’s a weird mish-mash between server and the player itself.

Thank you so much! Explains a lot!

Are you using Knapsu’s PMP AppImage ? If so, that’ll be in your home directory.

For as much as it’s requested (self included), we don’t have a PMP build for Linux… yet :frowning:

Alas, it seemed I was being a true dumbass @ChuckPa

I have PMS installed (on Amahi), but I did an incorrect assumption that PMS controlled PMP on other devices (which is does to a certain extent I know, but not to the full extent of what I was looking for), especially as PMS has it’s own player built in.

I looked within Windows and the file is certainly there with no worries so I’ll be mucking around with that!

Windows and Linux are much like oil and water.

Absolutely agreed!

Working with both daily side by side it’s a wonder my brain doesn’t implode…Maybe it did considering I just spent a few days trying to figure out why a player file wasn’t locate within a server directory -.-

I need a nap.

Take two, they’re on special today!
