File conversion

odd after changing location of my plex source folders and copying over media to new NAS drives one of my tv shows we watch all the time play perfectly fine but when it automatically goes to the next episode there is no sound ? but if you manually click play that file there is sound, this never happened before and we have been using those same files and plex for almost a year now. Maybe just a glitch or restart server ?

Looks like your files have not been analyzed completely, yet.
Changing media file locations usually requires a new analysis.
Let the butler run analysis the following few nights.

Server reboot can’t hurt either…

I have all check boxes ticked.
Just make sure your server is running during the maintenance time window. Set it to a time when the server is usually not busy serving users.

Performing a deep analysis takes quite some time. I don’t know how much media files you moved. Maybe it had not time enough to get through all of them?

you right i just moved almost 5 TB of media just yesterday, so maybe it has not gotten that far yet, that makes me feel more at ease and now that i think about it, thats probably the came, can i manually start the maintenance if i know plex wont be used at a certain time ? like now, no one will be using it for the next 5 hours

Not that i know of. Maybe just edit the time window, then restart PMS.
