Not sure exactly what you’re asking. If you’re looking for a source that will allow Plex to automatically name them, similar to how it matches movies, I don’t know of any such resource.
If you’re looking for a guide as to what Plex needs in order to display the extras in association with the movie, this may help:
Best “sources” are usually the cover of the box and occasionally the article description of an online shop (to be fair… the latter are very rare).
For DVDs:
Sometimes it helps to run the DVD in a software player to see if extras have a proper name.
For Blu-Rays:
You can check out the “JAR” subfolder of the m2ts main folder. Those usually contain numbered subfolders – sometimes, the numbers <8000 contain the artwork of the disc (all icons bundled in a few files). I’m occasionally using those to get chapter names if I cannot find them online. Same goes for English and/or localized extra names.
I think I’m learning how to name the files for Plex.
Specifically I’m interested in a resource (presumably outside of Plex) that will help me identify and name the extras found when I rip a DVD or BluRay. For example when I rip a movie, in addition to the file for the movie, there is sometimes 20 or more extras that I’d like to keep and name, but it would make life easier if there is a resource like the one I posted that has identified or name those files for me, so I can match (ala filebot) or just cut and paste.
