Any purchase on the Windows Store will give you a lifetime license for that purchase, same as any other Store (Google, Apple, etc) you may be familiar with.

I tried to buy but as I said the buying setup was not working. Will try again

Am I to assume the version I buy is for that PC only?
Or can I use it on 2 PC or can I reinstall after a total reinstall?

Just tried again. “We cannot process your payment”
I will try one more time in a day or 2 or three. If it fails then its 3 strikes, FILEBOT you are OUT

Well, I guess that’s a Windows Store problem I can’t really do anything about. Maybe you could ask Microsoft support about that?

Personally, I prefer PayPal, but credit cards usually work best with payment processors, though Microsoft will probably require that your credit card country matches your Windows Store country.

Don’t forget that a so-called ‘lifetime’ licence is nothing of the sort. It’s certainly not your lifetime. it’s just a licence until the developer drops support for that app & replaces it with a redesigned app with the same functionality but gives the app a different name so you will have to pay for the new app despite having a lifetime licence to the old app. The new app may even be inferior to the original app e.g. TomTom on iPhone being replaced by TomTom Go.

You realize that @rednoah42, the one you quoted, is the developer of Filebot, right?

I was actually using Paypal !!
I will check the country connection …

There’s the problem I guess. There’s a reason Apple and Google only allow credit cards.

Clear the store cache. I had the same problem and that solved it for me. You may need to Google how to, you need to run some commands in the CMD.

So I am trying to buy this on windows store but I click buy and it flashes but nothing happens. No place to put in purchase info and no file to download. Any help getting the file to actually download? If it works it would be worth 20 bucks to me.

Microsoft store says there is an issue with the file and when the developer fixes the file it should be functional again…
