Files not being recognized on Mac Plex server after DAS move

Only 60 of 140 folders worth of movies imports, no matter how much of the the Plex dance or reinstalls or file folder moves or renames within the TR-002 14TB RAID1 DAS. I have some workarounds planned which might just CHOP off the leg on this peculiar and frustrating scenario:

I have another two 20TB HDDs coming in for my 3rd TR-002 RAID1, will move all movies to that dive using windows and hope that whatever is going on the 1st TR-002 14TB RAID 1 does not carry over.

As seen in the screenshots I am using the QNAP External Raid manager for drive health. The MacOS version does not seem to have the same level of interact ability as if I attach the DAS to a VmwareFusion Win 11 or pure Win 11 PC… as a note.

  • If I eject the drive via QNAP App function it still shows up under Disk Utility in OSX and then in some cases will allow me to ATTEMPT to eject it via disc manager.. other it will pop up a warning * DISK IN USE * even though its already UNMOUNTED

Turns out the video files without the @ attribute == 0 byte files… corrupt files… what the heck. Brand new QNAP DAS and HDDs… no SMART errors.
