This is happening because we’ve found multiple devices that will crash when playing DoVi p7, as such we block DoVi p7 from working, except on the NVIDIA SHIELD or Chromecast with Google TV (or the device itself says it supports profile 7). If you can play something from your Sony TV that uses DoVi p7 and then grab the app logs, I can add the Sony TV to our allowlist for DoVi p7.
