Film not being identified correctly

Hello,

I am just trying to add the following film into my films pool:

But nothing is working, as plex is not identifying it correctly, or even manual.

Any idea on why?

What is your folder/file structure and name?

../Revenge (2017)/Revenge (2017).mkv matches instantly on my system.

Yes, I have it as Revenge (2017) but it is matching as:

And when trying to match it manually I get:

I got it to match in English using 2018 for the year, which is strange since it ended up showing 2017 after the match.

Try it with 2018, like @anon18523487. Plex Dance the movie after changing the name, to clear the bad metadata out of your Plex Server database.

This might be one of those weird cases that crop up every now and then.

Revenge, the movie you want, shows in IMDB as Revenge (2017). It was shown at film festivals in 2017, but the official US release date was 11 May 2018.

Higanti, the film you don’t want, shows in IMDB as Revenge (2016). It was shown at a film festival in 2016, but the official release date was 22 March 2017.

That could be the reason for the mismatch and appearing in Plex with a different year.
