Plex allows filtering by genre, but Plexamp does not. In a large music collection, this is valuable to find a group of works to listen to. Would it be possible to add this, using the genre metadata in the Plex collection.
You can use Style Radio to choose a genre to listen to.
Not sure how to do that, however, I believe the ‘radios’ are like a random shuffle play of the genre.
What I want is similar to the Plex filter, which will show me all the artist or albums under the genre. Then I can select the items I want to listen to or put in a playlist.
Style Radios are under “Stations” on the home screen.
Tap it, then tap the dots next to genre you want, then select Browse Albums. You can then select an album in that genre.
