Thanx for the work on the new BETA TV Agent Series. Finally, some major flaws where fix like the scan for finding missing episodes. In my case it found more than 626 episodes missing.
But why this wasn’t implemented?
– IMDB RATING? Why is this so hard to get the information from IMDB instead of the TMDB. IMDB is the referenced since decades.
Why TV Series doesn’t have the INFORMATION such as:
– Still airing or not; (The information is in TVDB)
– Director;
– Actors…
and more usefull information.
Why SKIP INTRO doesn’t work for the already there series and not just the one that has been downloaded?
As a paying member, I just want to get a feedback instead of staying in the dark. Just want to know if it’s on the todo list.
and finally, the DUPLICATES EPISODES WORKS when you delete directly from hard drive. Thank god!
this has nothing to do with the agent. and not sure exactly what you mean. The server does new things first because generally folks want to watch the new things they just added. old things they have probably are not going to watched soon get processed during scheduled tasks.
They mention in the Beta thread that this was supposed to be there but the code didn’t make it in time for the beta … or something along those lines.
Depending on the selected source some shows are missing some of the extra metadata and this is also a known thing they mentioned they are working on in that Beta thread.
It is a long thread and getting longer - which is good! Things are being tested and worked on.
It’s still a beta scanner so unless you want to test things and deal with possible bugs and mishaps I’d just wait on it still.
Info there about running the analysis manually. You can also likely run “analyze” from the top level of library. I don’t know if this will reset already scanned files. It’ll also be pretty CPU intensive so having it run as scheduled task might be more useful.
I’m not sure what info you are referring to in that screenshot. Actors should show on that page below the seasons posters. Directors show up on the individual episode pages.
You should only need to refresh metadata. Did you just change the agent in the drop down? If you only changed the drop down then individual shows might still be using older agent.
it goes through the shows newest to oldest. it takes time it is not going to happen in seconds as it basically need to play each file to find the intro. It will take time. It also won’t do it for super short intros less than 20seconds and it only looks had first half of file.
