Hi,
i have a movie file on my hardrive but cant find it in Plex. Is there some kind of reversesearch where i can enter the filename?
Thank you!
look for movies flagged as duplcates
Thanks for the fast reply. There are no duplicates.
Check for unmatched also.
If that’s empty can you let us know the name of the movie and how you have named it on disk.
Some movies have alternative titles depending on your region. A Brilliant Young Mind is know as X+Y for me as an example so maybe something like that could be happening.
You can also look for date added
First of all, above needs to be of a supported type, like mp4, mkv etc.

2nd, the user that PMS runs under needs access to the file, so if you are running PMS as a service, then check the service user has access
3rd, you should look at the naming of the media, since if not named correctly, you might be lucky finding it with the Unmatched filter instead of Duplicates
And if still nothing, then make sure your PMS log level is set to debug, and then do a Plex Dance on the movie, followed by uploading a zip with the PMS logs
