Finding shows when they are on 3 different hard drives?

I have a lot of OTA shows recorded and they are on three different hard drives. Is there a way to see them all in one spot. I currently have them in one named library, when I go to look for a show I must know what drive they are on. But of course I don’t. Is there a way to just have a listing off all folders (they are named for each show, and all episodes are in that folder. -Bill

You can add more than one path on the ‘Add folders’ page when editing your Library:

Well, pardon me for trying.

Maybe if you provided a little more information about how your library is configured, it would be easier to see what you’re talking about. A screenshot of the Add folders page, and the folder structure in all three locations, for instance. If the folders are added correctly, all the shows should appear in the library without having to know where they are.

Sorry, Plex has been a bit of a frustrating experience the last 3 days. After RTFM I redid my libraries based on the manual yesterday. But that, it seems was a mistake. Just prior to your response I decided to delete my libraries in a bit more frustration. After reading your response I figured I would try again and recreated them and it looks like I am getting what I originally wanted/expected. I removed the offensive post. Sorry Again. I will continue to test it. Thanks for setting me straight.

This is what I originally did. I added the drives as three different libraries and saw that I would need to know the particular library name to find an already existing show. Not good. So I deleted two of the 3 libraries. Then I went in to the library I didn’t delete and added the two other drives (video folders on those drives actually) and did a re-scan of the library last night. What I found this morning was a convoluted mess. No way to find any shows. Now after deleting that library mess and fully recreating it correctly its working as I thought it should. I am guessing that editing that existing library caused something to go horribly wrong, Live and learn. -Bill
