Fire app on the same network wont connect directly to server

I’m running a server on my desktop pc and I have the plex app on a fire stick 4k on the same network but it is trying to connect to it like its a remote device causing the quality to be terrible. The app on my LG tv works fine at max resolution. Is there a way to force the Fire stick app to connect to the local server directly rather than try to remote in?

If the Fire stick can see your server locally, then it will use a local connection. If it’s using a remote connection, then something is preventing the local connection. It’s best if you restart the app, play something for about 2 minutes, then grab the android logs.
