Since Saturday night, at least once a day (often more than once), Plex on my Fire TV Stick 4k shows that it is unable to connect to my local PMS. Remote access is not a problem. My server is up and running on a very new, state of the art desktop PC that’s SUPER fast and has tons of resources (way more than I ever actually use) and has no issues. I also have a state of the art Eero mesh wifi system that delivers full bars of signal strength to every corner of my house. The ONLY way I have found to fix the problem with the Plex app for android is to restart my Fire TV Stick. Totally viable work around but a bit annoying. Please fix this bug as it appears to have come with either the latest PMS update or the latest Fire TV app update.
I’m not interested in spending hours of my time with back and forth forum posts. I simply do not have the time for this and since the problem is quite obviously a Plex problem (no other streaming services are having any sort of problems on my Fire TV Stick 4k), please just fix it as soon as possible. In the meantime, I will continue to use my work around.
