Fire TV Cube transcoding TrueHD audio and subtitle burn-in needlessly

Hello, I recently started ripping my 4k blu-ray library (including the 7.1 TrueHD audio tracks) to put on my plex server, and ran into some trouble. Apparently if I’m transcoding audio, it also tries to burn-in my subtitles, which works incredibly poorly and causes me great pain. My bigger issue however, is I don’t know why my server is transcoding the audio - according to the link below, my Fire TV Cube should be fully capable of handling Dolby TrueHD audio. Can anyone shed some light on what’s going on?

I have the same issue for the last couple months with cube 3 and 4k stick max 2.
