This may already be something that I just don’t know about but would it be possible / a good idea to make better use of the menu button on the fire TV remote?
It doesn’t seem to server any function within plex currently (that isn’t covered by a single press of any other button)
What I think would be really handy would be the settings overlay that can currently only be accessed by stopping what you are watching and getting back to the user icon on the main menu. If a press on the menu button brought up the setting overlay whilst watching plex this could give us a lot more options for faster navigation.
I would personally like to see:
Switch User - This is a bit of a faff at the moment, if something is currently playing on my daughter’s accounts and I want to switch to mine, it takes coming out the video and pulling the menu across to allow me to then navigate up to the user select
Return Home - Not essential but quite handy to just be able to switch straight back the home screen
Settings - Again not essential but handy and seems logical to have settings here
Basically, what I think Plex needs is a faster way to switch users at any time withing the software and I feel the un-used menu button the Fire TV remote provides this functionality perfectly
